More about EARLS  Feb 24th, 2013
Good Sunday Morning all, now where was I? Oh yes, this morning I'd like to tell you a little about Rick Johnson, owner and great employer. He's 69 and headed to 70 quick but he acts like he's about 25. Diets and exercise is a daily event in his life. He is married to Edith "Edye" for well over 35 years. They have 5 grown children. The oldest is Chris married with 2 kids living in Baltimore. Maggie is married with 4 or 5, I can't keep up, living in Wilmington.. Rich is single still and a criminal attorney in Richmond. Allen is married has 2 little boys and lives in Atlanta. And then there is Keith, single, and living the ultimate life in the Outer Banks of N.C. Rick has been in the Marines but they wouldn't let him fly so he switched over to the army. At that point, he was sent to Vietnam and he flew planes over the border as a spotter plane pilot. He came home with 3 Distinguished Flying Crosses, 34 air medals and a Purple Heart... Soon after he opened his first used car lot. I guess he thought that would be a little more quiet. little did he know that was the beginning of a new world. He was still getting off the ground when I came to work there........I'll be back.
